A-Rosa

A-Rosa

Originally founded in 2000 to serve the German cruise market, A-ROSA operates their eleven river vessels throughout Europe, and now has five ships dedicated to international travellers. All of the A-ROSA fleet reflects the company’s contemporary design and unfussy sensibilities, distinguishing themselves from the status quo and offering their guests a true “escape from the ordinary”.

In 2013, A-Rose dedicated three of their ships the English speaking market for the first time. The A-ROSA Stella, A-ROSA Silva and A-ROSA Aqua offer a series of cruises on the Rhine, Danube, Rhone and Soane, 100 percent dedicated to English-speaking travellers and their needs. This has made A-ROSA one of the most inclusive river cruise lines afloat.

A-Rosa river cruises are focussed on the meanders of Europe’s waterways, including the Danube, Rhine, Rhone and the romantic Seine. With particular attention put into creating a luxury and relaxing atmosphere, the attentive staff knows your name within a day or two and there is always somewhere to sit and watch the world roll by.

With an innovative concept which consists of a casual but stylish feel of holiday, and a richly diverse range of excursions and facilities, A-ROSA offers premium river cruises which allow you relax, explore and be as active as you choose.

Accommodation

As on most riverboats, the cabins are located on three decks and are designed to make you feel at home the moment you arrive. All cabins are remarkably spacious and equipped with a range of comforts including queen-sized beds and individual temperature control. A-Rosa ships also offer a handful of Suites which include complimentary room service, mini-bar, laundry and ironing service and even Butler service.

The accommodation is elegant and stylish, just like the rest of the ship, with a majority of the rooms facing outwards and including a French balcony for you to enjoy the scenery as you pass by. Each room comes with a range of facilities including a flat screen TV, en-suite with a shower, Wi-Fi and complimentary use of robes and slippers.

Dining

A-Rosa places special emphasis on its cuisine and dining experience.  All ships have indoor and outdoor restaurants and all dining is open-seated within a luxury atmosphere. All cocktails are included in the cruises fares, and the line takes great pride in its culinary offerings, ranging from low-calorie Mediterranean cuisine to buffet style restaurants.

Each cruise also includes a special “Wine & Dine” evening event, featuring carefully selected dishes prepared by top chefs and served with an exquisite selection of wines.

Facilities

All of the A-Rosa vessels include a list of facilities which place a special emphasis on wellness. The Spa-Rosa, including a Health and Beauty centre with massage solarium, sauna, a steam room and fitness area is at the very centre of life on board. There is also a sun deck at the heart of the ships, which is the perfect place for daytime relaxation. It is outfitted with a putting green, shuffleboard, chess, comfortable chairs and loungers and a small swimming pool.

At other times, the ship's lounge is the prime spot for evening entertainment and enrichment activities. Whatever your preference, you will be able to find your own private slice of luxury on board, including inside your generous cabin.

Excursions

A range of shore excursions are available in every port of call, and allow you do as much or as little as you wish. Perhaps the best thing about A-Rosa’s excursions is that they are all included in the price of your cruise. Guests can choose from a variety of tours from, relaxed and immersive introductions to cities and regions focussing on the arts, history, food and wine. To more adventurous options which feature, hiking the Black Forest, quad exploring, and horseback riding or kayaking the peaceful shores.

Whichever excursion you choose, you will know that you didn’t just take a tour; you experienced Europe to the fullest.
